Letter to Property Owners
Dear Property Owner:
If you own land in Chesapeake Isle, whether for love of the woods and water or for speculation; whether you live here, have a vacation home, plan to build, or just use the lost for water access, you need the Chesapeake Isle Civic Association, and the Association, in turn, needs you.
The Civic Associations primary purpose is to protect and improve the value of our investments here. It is not just a social club ... although we do sponsor an annual cycle of popular, informal social activities. Its not just the municipal government ... although we do insure compliance with the restrictive covenants and maintain some 30 acres of community area, and the 3 1/2 miles of gravel streets, which the Civic association owns. Were not simply providing attractive picnic, swing and boating facilities ... although considerable amounts of time and effort go into our beach and mooring areas.
Its all of the above - done for your benefit.
We are a low-budget, self-help community. It becomes clearer every year that to accomplish our mission and provide more and better community services which owners want, our membership must grow. We need every owner as a member of the civic Association. There is nowhere you can get so much value for $65 a year.
In your own best interest, can you honestly afford not to participate?
Chesapeake Isle Civic Association
